Job Responsibilities
1. Execute patent lifecycle management including layout planning, registration, maintenance, operation, monitoring, and rights protection per company IP strategy.
2. Collaborate with R&D teams to identify patentable technologies through technical discussions and project engagement.
3. Manage patent application processes: technical disclosure review, drafting, OA responses, reexamination, and invalidation proceedings.
4. Maintain and archive patent documentation with digital tracking systems.
5. Handle other assigned departmental tasks.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM fields.
2. 3+ years of patent prosecution experience.
3. Mandatory: Valid Patent Agent Qualification Certificate.
4. Proficient in patent drafting, prior art search, and IP analytics; familiar with IP laws and regulations.
5. Strong risk awareness to identify legal vulnerabilities in technical solutions.
6. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills (written & verbal).
7. Plus: Legal Practicing Certificate and/or patent litigation experience.
