New Operations Leadership Track Winning Enterprise
Every shopping season, L'Oréal faces intense sorting and packaging pressure in e-commerce logistics. Staff must quickly and accurately pick samples from a vast number of SKUs — a process involving complex physical interactions. Humans accomplish this easily with dexterous hands and a sense of touch, but robots struggle because they lack real tactile perception.
Xense Robotics' flexible sorting solution, built around tactile sensing technology, creatively breaks through the bottleneck of automated sample picking in traditional e-commerce logistics, enabling robots to precisely sense, flexibly grasp and manipulate a diverse range of beauty products.
Xense Robotics will engage in a validation pilot (POC) collaboration with L'Oréal China, jointly exploring ways to enhance the agility and resilience of the supply chain.
